It’s a pretty light release week, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering how many great reads have hit the shelves over the last month. I could use the catch-up time.

Is there anything more satisfying than cracking the spine on a new paperback that you’ve been waiting to read? Here are some of the upcoming books that I’m tracking for release between July 1 to July 4, 2021. As you can tell, my literary tastes run the gamut – suspense, fantasy, classic romance, a little dark and dirty. I never shy away from a good story, regardless of the tools used to tell that story.

Last year, someone recommended a book to me and it became one of those books that changed everything for me. I was struggling with my mental health during the COVID-19 lockdown. I couldn’t concentrate long enough to read anything, I couldn’t knit, I wasn’t interested in anything airing on TV. I just had no focus. Then a friend said she had just the book for me, something that would draw my attention and keep me reading. She was right.
