About me

My name is Jennie and I’m a Readaholic

I’m basically a book junkie and have been since I was a kid. I read Charlotte’s Web under the covers with a flashlight in the middle of the night. I read Little House on the Prairie in the bathtub. I read Nancy Drew on the playground when other kids were hanging off the monkey bars. As an adult, the books might have changed but the behaviour is the same. There is always time in the day for a good book!

I read everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING. Mystery and suspense, fantasy and sci-fi, biographies, general fiction, YA, you name it. My favs are in the romance category, though, so the majority of my reading tends to lean in that direction. And there are no limits within that category – from trashy smutty to elegant historical. I want to read about people falling in love and making with the love. No holds barred.

I’m pretty picky about the reviews that I give. There is a small handful of books that I would give a five-star review for, and they are my favourites of all time. If an author wants a five-star review from me, it has to be a book that I will re-read over and over again and enjoy equally every time.
